I was born and bred in the province of West Flanders, but I have been living in downtown Ghent for over 25 years now. Because of the superior quality of life not to mention its medieval setting, I have become a real Ghent chauvinist.

I am really fond of Ghent: its poignant stories, its quirky wood panelled bars, its cosy terraces and restaurants, its (street) art and culture, its crossover of musical styles, its dazzling nightlife not to forget the stubborn but friendly and easy-going Ghentians.
